Painfull intercourse

I had an emerg c-section over 2 years ago which was a result of an infection in my uterus.  Ever since, I have not enjoyed sex.  It is painful and burns after.  Even if I self pleasure, I still get the burn. I have found lately that I am tender at the back side of the vagina opening near the anus. I avoid sex cause it hurts during and after. My husband is frustrated. I am frustrated.  I have had rutine pap smears and talked to a Dr and all that was suggested was lube. Any help would be great. Thanks
