Vaginal Bump

I had a very large bump on the left side of my vagina (on the outside, right in the crease of my leg).  It seemed to be a hair bump (I shave my bikini line). It burst in my sleep, and I think it may have leaked down to the opening of my vagina. The pus was thick and yellowish/green. I am scared that the pus will infect my vagina. My vagina does not have a smell, but I do have a slimy discharge at times, then a milky discharge. Help!!! Did the bump/boil drain out through my vagina??? I have a doctor appointment in 4 days. WHAT COULD THIS BE?????

I have issues like that quite often and I can say they usually rupture and go away...sometimes they can be cyst or not rupture on there own and need to be lanced off. Hopefully that's not the case with your bump. Since you have a doctor appt coming soon that is something you would like to discuss with him/her other possibilities could be along the lines of STDs and if that is a concern of yours then I would suggest discussing that with your doctor as well. Good luck sweetie (:

Don't fret, my mom gets them all the time..they are infected hair follicles and my mother gets them in the worst part of her vaginal area..like on her clitoris.ouch.i feel so bad for her because when i was a child, she would be laying on the couch with boiling water trying to get it to burst....i know they are painful but don''t worry about it getting inside...i highly doubt it would make any difference..it' s just pus and that infection is not the same kind you would get inside of you..I feel you girl..i have only had one..on my butt lol...and i didn't sit for a week..don't worry

Its probably nothing, it just sounds like normal cervical mucus. It changed throughout your cycle.
I wouldnt worry about it unless you start to notice a smell or greenish/yellowish discharge.. or pain. but i wouldn't obsess over it too much.
