I am the UTI queen!! I've had so many of them I lost count. I used to get them every single time I started my period. It sounds like a UTI. I've had them so bad I would see blood as well. My doctor educated me when I was in my 20's about preventing UTI's. I hope these help!! I assume you know the cardinal rule about wiping fron to back so let's skip that one. :) 1. go to the bathroom after sex. Even if you don't pee, the action will cause your bladder to "go back in it's place" after sex. 2. Try not to use tampons. 3. Do not hold your pee for too long. 4. Drink plenty of fluid. Cranberry juice is good, but any non soda drinks work. I find that soda makes things worse.

I would get to the DR if you have a fever also. For pain relief - get AZO or any urinary tract pain reliever. They're either in the yeast infection aisle or the pain reliever aisle. My DR did tell me not to take those for more than two days. It does make your pee REALLY orange and it stains your clothes so be careful. If you do use the AZO and do go to the DR tell them you are taking it so they can get an accurate reading on your test. Sometimes the AZO shows up in a UA as something it's not.

If you have any questions please ask me. I seriously have had more UTI's than anyone in this life ever should have. I tried to remember everything I could about this lovely condition. I hope it helps...or at least was a good read.

it could be a uti or a std.. sometimes they will have the same symptoms.. from what you say though i would lean towards a uti.  i would say you wouldnt have symptoms of pregnancy yet like kitkat said... if it were me i would go to the dr and have them do a urinalysis to be sure... if it is a uti you will need some antibiotics cuz cranberry juice and water wont get rid of it on their own.

You wouldn't be pregnant or feel any symptoms of pregnancy from having sex 2 days ago - the egg wouldn't even have implanted yet. If you think you could be pregnant, then take a pregnancy test when your next period is due.

I think you're right about the UTI though. You probably need antibiotics to clear it up. Drink plenty of fluids too, cranberry juice works wonders.
