Ok so I posted my story yesterday but I think it was posted on social, anyways long story short I work for a doctor of and on for 11 yrs or so, now back for over 2 yrs, Im Office manager and I have beeing writting rx's for lortab for the past over 1 yr a lor of rx's, so he found out not through pharmacy just by him self and it was bad timing cause we fired our medical assistant, so this happend 3 wks and he has beeing investigating telling me that he didn't know what he was going to do but I also was denying the hole thing till today I told him the truth and he ask me to stay and work for him untill we find a nue medical assistatn and that the old biller will come in in to the office to help me so he is not fireing me even though I finally told him it was me, but he already called the police and they told him that a detective will call him, he really needs me as a medical assistant so I say I would stay but I really dont know what to do, cause I fill like he could be saying what I want to hear but I dont know? what do you think?

Her first post was very confusing but she did say she was calling in scripts for herself and her family.

Thats good news!  He knew it was you the whole time. I'm sure he appreciated you coming clean.  Hope it all works out.  Dont you feel better already for just telling him the truth?

I do remeber ur story..i think...but i thought u said u were not the one writing the scrips..that someone in ur family got ur authorization number?  I could have it mixed up

if u can keep ur job then i would stay if u like ur job...and if u can stop urself from doing this again..if u can not//which may be the case/then it is best to get the trigger out of ur life....leaving the job will not stop the detectives from prosecuting u if they feel the need to do so

Why r u asking for an opinion on staying or quitting ur job?  im a bit confused
