with acth stim test - what is dhea-s and aldosterone supposed to do?

just curious, my son's dhea-s was in the 300's baseline and was in the 300's after 60 minutes acth stim - is that normal.  I cannot find anything about that.

his aldosterone was 8 baseline and 14 after 1 hour after acth stim...

anyone?

They wanted to see if the aldosterone rose in which case they could also identify an issue with the renin/aldosterone axis - such hyperaldosteronism but he is fine.

The DHEA-sulfate is also normal - so they checked all the hormones. That hormone is a precursor of estrogen and testosterone. Under stress, it stayed the same as well.
