Do the pranayam with concentration, and note what symptoms are getting better. Trying to find why each symptom occurs, will cause stress. You have to do this yourself, and once you start to feel the benefit, you will have control of your health in your hands.
I did get in to a doc today, however all he did was give me some meds for anxiety, he didnt even check me out. Im a little disappointed! I have been doing a little bit better but every now and then my cheeks will get red and warm...why?? I havent taken any meds yet so what would cause that?? Any suggestions?? Thanks for the advice hava :)

In answer to what else to do - do this breathing technique twice a day. It will take your mind away, and gradually you may notice some side benefits.
Build up your timing gradually. If you feel tired or dizzy, stop and resume after one minute.
Anulom Vilom pranayam –
Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril
then -keeping the left nostril closed deep breath-in through right nostril
then - close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Repeat this cycle for 15 to 30 minutes twice a day.
Children under 15 years – do 5 to 10 minutes twice a day.
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs. You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.

I get the uneasy feeling, rapid heartbeat, sweaty palms an fear. This past week all these symptoms have came back an I've notice my heart rate staying elevated, I can't get in doc until next wed an therapy till 28... I don't know what else to do
By now hopefully you have taken some action ~& seen a professional medic. about your anxiety? If not you will probably continue to feel wretched, no need to despair ~ there are lots of meds/talking therapies available. These will help you to feel good again. Try not to be in too much of a hurry if your meds /therapy doesn't click in instantly ~ be sure you understand the possible side -effects before embarking on what's prescribed. Lots of experience of anxiety on this site ~ Best wishes, George
Health anxiety is quite common in this community. My original experience with anxiety came from concerns about my health. In my opinion, the answer to your question can be addressed by your doctor...He/she is the only qualified one to diagnose you with something, but you said that you have been experiencing anxiety for years now, so these concerns may not be new to you. Have you had the same concerns for some time and the doctor has suspected that it was anxiety? Have you/are you in counseling for your anxiety right now?
If you are concerned why not go to your doctor and explain your situation. Maybe he/she can refer you for some help if you need it...keep us posted!
It really depends on what type of symptoms you are having that are different from what you have experienced before with your anxiety. You didn't list them so it is kind of hard to answer your question.
