Dear Kaki, The findings of the mammogram and ultrasound give the radiologist information that
leadsLead poisoning them to give their recommendations. Some findings are more suspicious than others, and this radiologist may feel the testing done answered the question that these were cysts. Cysts in themselves are not a problem and could be left alone as long as we are sure they are cysts and they are not causing you discomfort. There is the option of having the fluid from the cyst aspirated (removed through a needle)and sent for analysis. Depending on the location of the cysts, and whether the cyst is felt on exam (as a
lumpLumps in the breasts) this procedure could be done relatively easily in the doctor's office.
Another option for you would be to get a second opinion from a breast specialist. They would want to see the actual mammograms and results from the ultrasound. This may at least give you peace of mind.
