Can't heal after breast cancer surgery

I had lump taken out of left breast, and four chemo treatments before i was told it was not healing and had to stop chemo.  I have waited 15 weeks, still not healed.  The surgeon is going to open it up again and I will have to start chemo all over again.  What can I do to ensure it heals this time?  There is no infection involved.
