No one had cancer in family.

Just had routine body check up & cancer check up.

In Mammography they took about 5 x-ray saying they are suspecting cancer.

Had biopsy.

They are saying it is carcinoma duct cancer.

Doctor said it’s a strange case as lifecycle is normal & no on had cancer in family.

It is at very beginning stage. It’s very minor. A small surgery & they will remove. After that will give radiation treatment.

There  is no hard lump or something like this.

But some kind of tiny round reddish  some came on skin.

Have soft lump[breast trail] under arms. But as per them it’s normal.

Also found 3-4 lump at back. They are not even having look at it & saying  it’s normal.
Is it ok?

Can you please tell me what are the more information should I need to gather?
How worst this cancer is?
What is the best treatment for it?
Is radiation is require after surgery ?
Do I need to consult more doctors for same?
How much chances of reoccurrence of same?
How if I remove whole breast instead of only cancer & nearby area?
Any more test which can help to diagnostic it more better?

Sorry If I had asked lot of question, I do not have any knowledge of same, & looking for direction to come out of it.

Thanks

Dear Shahworld:  Ductal carcinoma In Situ (or DCIS) is a breast cancer where the cancerous cells are contained within the wall of the duct of the breast.  If the cancer cells have invaded the wall of the duct this would be referred to as invasive ductal carcinoma.  This makes a difference regarding treatment.  Several factors are taken into account before determining the recommendations for treatment for example, the size of the tumor, the stage of cancer, whether or not cancer is found in lymph nodes, whether the tumor is responsive to estrogen or not.  You ask several good questions which would be best answered by your surgeon who has the benefit of your specific information.   You may also benefit from consultation with a medical oncologist regarding recommendations for treatment after surgery.
