Misplaced Breast Lymph Node

Misplaced Breast Lymph Node

My wife went for her annual mammography and had to go back for a second 'closer' look.  The radiologist said that she simply has a misplaced lymph node.  We are relieved but don't really understand exactly what this means or if we should be concerned at all.  Can anyone expand?  Thanks.

Dear maureen33, Lymph nodes are found throughout the body.  There are nodes above the breast and under the arm and the near the breast.  The mammogram may have just picked up one of these lymph nodes that came within the x-ray field.
