Puckering nipples

Puckering nipples

I am 19 years old and have not been worried about breast cancer - until I did some online research and read that puckering of the nipple may be a symptom. My nipples have always puckered (since I can remember) but only when it's cold or something cold touches my breast. They wrinkle and harden for a couple of minutes then return to normal. Should I still be concerned? Thank you in advance for any info.

Dear soulgirl, What you are experiencing is normal, there is a bit of muscle in the areola, which is why it contracts and stands out (puckers) with cold, sexual stimulation and breast feeding.
