Spot below areola

Hi there,
I previously posted last year about a redish/brown spot just below my areola. I went to see 2 dermatologists, both gave me cream (didn't help) and one did a biopsy. The biopsy came back negative but that was nearly 7 months ago and the spot is still there. It is hard to describe, just kind of looks like an extension of my areola but it is round. It has not bled, itched or oozed or anything like that...it is just there. I tried to stop thinking about it but I can't help it since I see it every day...what else could it be???? I am so scared that they missed something but I called twice to make sure the biopsy was negative and it was. I do have implants and am wondering if maybe I am having some type of reaction to them?? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Dear ked00:  If the spot is unchanged, it is very unlikely to be cancer.  Skin on the breast is just like skin anywhere else and is subject to all sorts of possible abnormalities.  Sometimes, if there was an abnormality (like a pimple), the skin can remain discolored.  If you remain concerned, you might see one of the dermatologists again, for followup or consider a third opinion.
