WAITING FOR RESULTS

I HAVE A LUMP ON MY RIGHT BREAST THAT IS 3CM.  I AM TERRIFIED BECAUSE IT IS SO BIG.  CAN YOU TELL ME HOW MUCH SIZE MATTERS AS TO HOW MUCH THE CANCER HAS SPREAD.  ALSO JUST BECAUSE A LUMP HAS IRREGULAR BORDER DOES IT ALWAYS MEAN CANCER.  I AM TERRIFED OF GETTING THIS BIOPSY RESULT.

Dear Suspicious, The size of the lump does not indicate whether or not it is cancerous, likewise, the size does not indicate whether (if it is cancerous) it has spread.   The size of the lump comes into the equation; if it is cancerous, and in combination with other information, in determining recommendations as to what further treatment would be appropriate.
