from postmenopausal to perfectly ok?

45 yoa now having occasional vaginal spotting (ultra sound shows a follicle) labs show FSH 3.1, LH 6.9 and Estradiol at 378. and this year my mammo shows extensive bilateral cysts (some benign-looking 2 cm ones and a couple tiny clusters) none there ever before....doc going to do a vaccuum biopsy.

any suggests of what may be going on - nurse says "oh you're fine results show you're mid cycle"

except I had ovarian failure 20 years ago and tried everything to have a baby and never made eggs and I was diagnosed with early menopause assumed from heavy steriod use for COPD. confirmed by nada - nothing for more then ten years in the way of periods.

Dear ernielee:  Without evaluation, including review of all medical records and physical examination, it is impossible to speculate on what might be happening in this situation.  It may be beneficial to review with a reproductive endocrinologist as well as a breast specialist.
