im confused

i have dry skin in my nipple (not around it) and i was in the inernet reading about breast cancer and it said that if youha dry skin around your nipple is breast cancer but i have dry sin in the nipple and im confused is this breast cancer or not ( i have dry skin in the browm spot )

Dear kazper:  You can have dry skin around the nipple or on the nipple and it can be just that, dry skin.  There is one form of breast cancer that looks like dry skin or eczema and it is pretty uncommon.  If you are concerned, you might check with your internist who could evaluate this and make appropriate recommendations.
