nerve pain?

Anyone else have a searing, burning pain down the back of the arm following the lymph node dissection?  How long does that typically last?  Is there anything that relieves it?  I had the nodes removed a little more than 3 weeks ago, so maybe it just takes time?

Dear mel63, Pain after surgery is not uncommon and will diminish as time goes on.  If what has been prescribed for pain is not working, if your pain is worsening or changing in character, if other concerns regarding it - it is best to check with the surgeon who can assess in context of your situation and make recommendations for relief also in context of your situation.
