by kelc, Feb 03, 2008 02:38PM
had rash started nov 06 - treated with cream in 3/07.  had digital mammo gram - normal 4/07
no itching at all  for 8 months until nov 07!  same time as last year -  itching was on and off until this weekend when I noticed rash on areola again - not as bad as last year. started on leftover cloderm
calling mammo amd derm to get in asap. - could it be dry winter skin on left breast?

Dear kelc, Skin on the breast and nipples is like skin anywhere on the body and is subject to a variety of skin problems (including dry winter skin). Over the internet without examination, we cannot say for sure what this is.  Having it checked by your doctor who can evaluate and determine what the best course of action would be to address this problem.
