i have always had eczema. my breast sometimes itch, get red and ooze, (as eczema on other parts on my body does). OTC cream can make it go away/stop itching. I have one "hot" spot on r. breast that usually gets the itchiest, it has turned into a small bruise like color spot on r. breast. not raised, and has not changed, has been there for 3+ years. internist saw recently, wants me to see surgeon, mentioned paget's disease. ob/gyn has seen, as well as primary dr. all said trauma to area, caused this "discloration"....i am very nervous to see surgeon, but want to get answers. i have "hot" spots of ezcema (eczema) all over my torso, legs, and arms no history of bresat cancer in either side of family. is this something you have heard of?

Dear concamsmom, Paget’s disease is a rare form of breast cancer. Symptoms usually associated with this are itching, redness, and spontaneous (not forced) nipple discharge. For Paget’s disease to be diagnosed requires a sample of the tissue to be examined under the microscope.
