2 diagnosis copd not copd

Hi. I am a 28 yr old woman that has smoke about a pack a day plus a heavy habit of cannabis.
About a month ago i saw a doctor because of a persistant (tickling) cough especially at night, that had taken it's time clearing up. listening to my chest with nil result she had sent me to a radiographer to have a chest x-ray, unsure of the findings she contacted the radiologist who said i have Expanded lungs. the doctor diagnosed me with slight signs of copd. I quit smoking both that day.
I have a family history of asthma and suffer scoliosis very badly between my neck and upper back, giving me chronic neck back chest and shoulder pain.

I went to see another doctor for a second opinion a month later and she tested me on a spirometer with broncholidators.

The findings gave my lung age as 52.
results of test as follows (% pre - post)

FVC - 87.8 - 89.9
FEV1 - 86.4 - 87.1
FEV1/FVC - 97.6 - 96.2
FEV6 - 88.6 - 90.3
FEV1/FEV6 - 96.6 - 95.5
FEV0.5 - 89.9 - 90.3
FEV3 - 86.5 - 87.9
FEV3/FVC - 98.4 - 97.6
PEFR - 85.2 - 107.9
FEF25 - 75% - 90.8 - 84.3

Is the COPD diagnosis correct? I have no mucus bar the tar, no more coughing at all except when expelling tar. The chest shoulder and back pain are still the same.
please help me understand this as i have been in a whirl of emotions and it is taking its toll on my husband and 2 small children.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Actually your PFT results are quite good and its unlikely that you have COPD. However, since you have pain in chest, back. shoulder, and a history of smoking and cannabis, a chest CT should be done if X-ray shows an opacity.
Other than this, it could be due to severe gastric reflux because of smoking. Take Omeprazole empty stomach in morning and an antacid gel at bedtime. Refrain from smoking, alcohol, fuzzy drinks and spicy food. Walking around also helps clear gas. I would strongly recommend you to see a gastroenterologist (a specialist who looks after the diseases of our digestive system) if these tips help you. Get pancreatic and liver enzymes done as these organs too could be the cause of pain.
Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral.
Take care!
