Hepatitis B can lead to cirrhosis if not treated properly. See a gastroenterology and have your hepatitis assessed.

Cirrhosis is the degree of damage the liver has sustained. No one can predict if or when someone will have cirrhosis from these blood tests.

The mode of transmission of hep B and C are not the same. Hepatitis C is a blood to blood virus. Hepatitis B is transmitted through body fluids as well as blood.

See a gastroenterologist who understands and treats people with hepatitis B and liver disease. Only they can help you manage your hepatitis B and assess any liver damage you may have.

Good luck!
Hector
