by mustardseed, Nov 02, 2009 02:04PM
I have had an "ache" in my bowels for the past 3 months. A few times I have experienced blood in my stools. I have durring this time, experienced loose stools on and off and now I am experiencing s painful, sometimes stinging, burning sensation with bowel movement. My Grandmother had Colitis. Hi,
Abdominal pain, diarrhea and blood in stools may indicate inflammatory bowel disease like colitis though there are other possibilities as well.
Colonoscopy may be done for evaluation.
