what could be the cause of abdominal pain on the left side of the abdominal

Hi,
There are many causes of left sided abdominal pain.

Left sided upper quadrant pain could be due to involvement of the spleen
Left sided lower quadrant pain could be due to causes like diverticulitis, IBD, colon cancer, IBS and constipation.
Sometimes diseases adjacent to it but outside the abdomen can also cause pain in the left side of the abdomen.
