White bumps on tongue, lasting about a month..

About a month ago, I noticed, what I thought was a dead taste bud forming near the crack of my tongue. I irritated it by doing tonguing it but it didn't go away after a few days. Soon after, another one right next to it also came up and now a third right behind that one. I've still tongued it even though I know I shouldn't... but it's hard to not bump it. They haven't grown in size and are still quite small. They don't even hurt but I can certainly feel them there. The third one, isn't as inflamed as the other two.. it's more of narrow than the other two..

I'll go see a dentist if need be, but I would hate to go drop money (I don't have dental insurance) just to be told I have something that will go away if I just leave it alone.
