bone growth

by sofie52, Nov 03, 2009 11:12PM
After bone graft going bad (without blood supply needed hyperbarric treatment) 3 consecutive placed implants failed along with the graft and my own maxilla. There is not enough bone and tissue to support any prostetic fixture. There is also small opening between sinus and my mouth. Infection after infection is destroying any healthy bone left there. I have seen a TV program where doctors were able to grow a 1/2 jaw bone lost to cancer using BMP2. This was amazing. Is this an approved or experimental procedure? I am looking for a doctor who can perform this procedure. What are the chances for success? It would change my life.

Consultation with an maxillofacial oral surgeon is advised.
