replaced crown

replaced crown

My crown on the left side bottom last back tooth had fallen out 3 days ago.  My dentist was out of town so I had to see the on call dentist.  My crown was put back in today I told him it felt really high.  He stated the tooth had risen and it would go back down by tomorrow.  Is this true?  It's driving me nuts.

Tight contact between crown and natural teeth may be resolved over a couple of hours, if dental floss can pass through.Sometimes sensation of tight contact may be caused by occlusal interference.
