Republicans say the plan, using the Obama administration’s math, would achieve $4.6 trillion in savings.

I'm familiar with that tactic, mike. What I cannot get, for the life of me is, why won't these people be a little more realistic? Throw something out there that is almost rational?

It's likely just a negotiating tactic. It's one I never use but a lot of people do. The sellers start way too high and the buyers way too low.
I mentioned this the other day. The Presidents proposal complete with its "$hits and giggles" was dropped by the Republicans and I also said that the Republicans would probably as well throw something out there, equally as unreasonable. TA DA! No offense to the nations 3rd graders, but....
