Body jerking and spazams

Hello i am 22 years old, and was diagnosed with Epilepsy when i was 17 years. Although i have had seizures as a child this was never looked into. I am currently taking Lamotrigine 200mg morn and 200mg night. my seizures have been well controlled until recently when i have started having really bad body jerking. It doesn't happen when i am relaxed its as i am walking around. Its mainly my mouth and head that jerk. i have seen my doctor about this and he has put it down to anxiety as i had a baby last november who has been really sick. I dont think that it is just anxiety as it only just started 3 weeks ago. I am really worried and sceard about this as i dont know what is going on. please could you give me an idea of what you think it could be as i dont see my epilepsy doctor until january. thankyou

Hi
It could be the meds causing the jerking and the anxiety.  I know that when my dilantin level is above my therapeutic range it causes absence like seizures and monoclonic jerks.  And also my anxiety level is really high.
Maybe the level needs to be adjusted.
