I went for a blood test just recently and found out that my lymphocytes are (still) high (I did a full blood work 5 months ago that also indicated high lymphocytes). I was plagued with the horrible virus on May 2012 and was sick for almost an entire week. I've recovered just fairly with the occasional body aches and weight lost.
But what concerns me most (thus leading to the question): Does lymphocytes remain high even after recovering from an ebv re-activation? Or something else is causing it to elevate other than the virus?
Please, anyone help me out with my dilemma. Thanks!
