exposure to fumes

exposure to fumes

For about the last year, i have used some chemicals at work (enamel reducer, mineral spirits) not on a regular basis, but lets say once every 6-8 weeks or so.  When i did use it, it was for hours at a time, no mask or anything.  I would complain that it gave me headaches and made me feel nauseous.  My boss recently found the original can and read it, finding where it says "is known to cause cancer, birth defects and other reproductive harm".  Would this be enough exposure to worry about any of these problems?  We immediately replaced this product with a new "green" product we found to do the job with.
