fibroscan is not always accurate and strongly depending of the operator.
in 2009 i had a fibroscan of 70 kpa,performed by a noob.
2010 i had another one wich showed 9.5 kpa.(done by expierienced operator 100% sucess rate iqr 0.8)
in 2011 i had 25 kpa(done by noob, icr was to high sucess rate to low)
in 2013 i had 2 scans (in 2 diffrent hospitals)one was 10.5 the other 10.2(both performed by expirienced docs,sucess rate both 100% iqr 1.0 and 0.9)
2014 i had another one who was 9.5(done by expirienced doc sucess rate 90% iqr 1.5)
and before 2 weeks i had my latest wich gave a 7.5 kpa(performed by expirienced doc,sucess rate 100%,iqr 0.7)
i would not worry to much about this result, try to get another scan by an expirienced operator,or go for a biopsy(still the gold standart)
