Comparing transmission rates for discordant couples w/and w/o valtrex

I  am looking for comparative research or statistics regarding the chances of transmission in discordant couples with suppression therapy and without any therapies.  

My husband is positive for HSV1 and 2, I am positive for HSV 1 only. We really want to have a baby.  We have only had protected sex up until this point (6 years).  This means we will soon be having unprotected sex.  

Lots of questions:  1)Can anyone tell me the  transmission rates in discordant couples w/and w/o condoms?  

2)What are my chances of contracting HSV 2 if he uses suppressive therapy?
. I know it decreases the chance of transmission "by 50%" but I do not know what the chance of transmission is without any therapies.  

3) What are the chances for transmission if we  just use mindfulness and avoiding intimate contact when he knows an ob is coming/is here/is just ending?

Go check out westoverheights website.  for a woman, i believe transmission is 8-10% per year (3 sex acts/week) without condoms.  With valtrax, should be around 5%.
