Confused! Please help!

Could someone have genital herpes if there is only one blister?  

I found this pimple, blister like spot between my vagina and butt and am worried that it could possibly be herpes.  My boyfriend of 3 years said that he doesn't see how I would have that because he doesn't have it. I have never been sexually active with anyone except him. I am cautious because we have been partners for a little over a year and a half and this is the first time I have found anything abnormal. I am just wondering if I should be more concerned about this spot that I have found. My symptoms include just the spot and a little irritation.  I have had no leg pains, fever, or anything.

Also, can men be tested for herpes through a blood test like women can?

Could this be herpes? Yes, it could however, a single bump is not typical. Your boyfriend could very well be Positive and never know it. Not everyone has symptoms! Most have it and don't know it!!! If the bump is still there, GET IT CHECKED OUT before it disappears!! Don't wait till it disappears before getting it checked out because then it will be too late. I have a feeling it's nothing but definitely needs to be looked at before it goes away!!
