bowel movement (no straining, just sort of stung) and when I wiped I noticed blood. First chance I got, I checked myself out down there and noticed a tear, more on the inside of the anus, and redness around the whole and all the way up the crack. Fast forward to now, and I still have this tear, although sometimes it seems to go away, then bam, it's right back again.
Medical History: Was tested over 3-4 years ago, and tested positive for Herpes 1 through a blood test (most my family
bowel movement around the time of my period, but never a tear. Was tested on Jan 8th again for Herpes (blood test), still only positive for Herpes 1. I have had occasional vaginal
on the perineum and at the bottom of the vagina opening.
So my questions are:
1) What is the likelihood this is Genital Herpes 1?
2) Can I get a lesion test from the tear, even if it is small?
3) What's up with the red crack?
4) I plan on getting this checked out, but any other ideas what this might be?
This sounds like hemorrhoids to me. Blood when wiping, irritation, tears, etc., can all be hemorrhoids. You might also have a yeast infection or something, but its best to get it all checked promptly. The longer you wait, the harder it might be to diagnose.
