ingrown hair or herpes

I had sex with my best friend of 5 years exactly 11 days ago. He has not had sex for 8 years due to cancer and we were both drinking and just got plain silly but we did use a condom. The condom apparently leaked as he did not let me know that he had ejeculated and he continued having sex with me. Now 11 days later, for the first time ever, I have what looks like an ingrown hair with a white bit at the top. I cannot see a hair but can feel the bump and see the white bit! I have shaved down there for 8 years and never had an ingrown hair. Can one bump be genital herpes? Please someone advise me as I have only had sex with 3 people in 18 years and would never transmit anything to anyone knowingly.

It doesn't sound like herpes but while it is still there, get to a Dr right now and have him or her look at it!! If it disappears it will be a guess as to what it is and now you have to wait a few months to take a blood test to see what youe HSV status is. Like I said, it doesn't sound like herpes but definitely needs looking at if you think it is abnormal.
