mucus in stool - no other symptems

by Tad78, Sep 26, 2009 08:25AM
Very concerned - I had my appendix out a couple weeks ago.  A few days later I started taking a food based mutlivitamin.  All seemed fine, but about 3 days after starting the multivitamin I started noticing a bit of mucus in my stool.  It has been a week now and what was a little mucus has now turned into a lot.  In fact, I can now feel like i really have to go to the bathroom and all that comes out is some mucus and a small thin regular stool.

Anyone have any clue what this could be?  No fever, pain or any other symtoms present.

Poor thing.  What kinda mucus - clear/coloured?  Thin consistency or like jelly?  Sticky or not?
