Getting very nervous!

Well everyone, I woke up this morning and can't walk, talk, stop head and arm tremors, trouble swallowing, no appetite, blurry vision, etc, etc, etc.

Called the ms specialist and am waiting for answer.

I am very nervous.  I feel worse today than whe. This all started.  My weak ess is overwhelming.  I can't even talk.  I sounds like someopne who had a stroke.

I feel terrible because yesterday i told the kidsnthat I would take them to the mall and thethis morning i can barely move.  They just don't understand.  Alll that we can tell them is that mommy is sick.

It seems like mommy ks always sick.  I am nervous because i thought I was in a relapse and waiting it out already.  I have been posting to the pint of annoying everyone on the forum asking when i would be coming out of the relapse and I guess I am in another one.  What the heck?  I am confused and annoyed and very worried,  i cant be immobile and useless.  I have to do whatever it takes to gget better.

I need advise and experience.

Thanks yoiu nn advance for all of your help.

HI,
First as Kat said, your posts are NOT annoying. We are here to help you navigate your way through this miserable disease based on our own experiences.

Second, if the specialist doesn't call promptly , my opinion is that you should go to the ER. You have too many symptoms that cannot be ignored. Your loss of motor function is getting worse. Make arrangements for the kids and call an ambulance if need be. Amazingly the kids will eventually understand. They are resilient.

The NMSS has literature aimed just for kids to explain why Mom is so sick. Leave the mommy guilt at the door , it only adds stress to you and your body and right now that's the last thing you need. You can explain later. I know, I've been there.

Right now your number one priority is prompt medical care. The ER is the best place to get this care now and you need an evaluation NOW.

Let us know how things go and I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Sounds like everything I just posted in response to a different topic is out-of-date.

If you aren't BEING SEEN in the office by now, I am the 1...2...3...4th recommendation for an immediate ER visit.  All of us understand problems with finances and insurance and not planning for or having time to be "immobile and useless".  It happens to us anyway.  GO!

Well Kerri, where are you now?  Give us an update when you can.- Lulu

PS questions are always welcome - no need to apologize.  This MS thing is a lot to take in and it takes a while to understand it all.

That sounds terrible to me....I would ask your husband to take you to the ER...I hope you get to feeling better and also no permanent problems....My problems seem pretty insignificant compared to what you are going through..

Keep us posted

I'm still home.  I am afraid to go to the ER because last time they just made me wait and told me there was nothing they could do.  This is ms.  I am calling the doc in the am and if he doesn't get back to me i will go to the ER.  I just wanted to give it one day to see how i do.  I have n ppt with my psychiatrist in the morning and he's located at the hospital.  Ill just go downstair to the ER.

I really appreciate all of your answers.  I would have gone to the ER but my kids are home and i will be there tomorrow morning.  I think my biggest worry is that i am getting worse.  My speech and my walking are the worst today.  Does ayone have any experience with this.  I am so new at this disease that i may be panicking.

I am definitely not okay though.

I'll post what happens tomorrow.

Thanks guys.
