OT I am excited

Tomorrow I am going to a meeting with our US Senator as a NMSS advocate. I have never done anything on the federal level only the state. I have also been asked to serve on a committee to make new rules for certifying service dogs for the state by the Department of Health and Human Services. Polly and I are getting to do more with our advocacy. I have come a long way in a year from that depressed person who wondered what I would do for the rest of my life with this dreaded disease.

Alex:

I am thrilled to read this. It is exceptional  in terms of how you have overcome your depression, accepted your diagnosis and then have become an advocate for others who share your disease.

I'll cheer for you every step of the way as you deal with MS and wage your advocacy campaign.

You go, girl. This is yet another example of how to turn a curse into a blessing. And yes, thank you from the bottom of my heart for being selfless enough to want to help others.

Alex, how absolutely awesome for you and for us.

I know you are a compassionate woman who is passionate about this cause and will be able to articulate the needs of people who can gain such benefits from having a service dog.  You and Polly make me very proud - keep up the good work.

be well, be proactive,
Lulu
