waxy mouth

my husband is complaining of a waxy feeling on the roof of his mouth and his taste seems to be disappearing. He is 74 years old, in good health, but does take a variety of medications. Seems like this has been happening for a month or so.

Would so much appreciate any input.

Thanks,

Laura

HI Laura, welcome to the MS forum here on MedHelp.  I'm not sure if this is really where you wanted to post your question - does he have multiple sclerosis?

There is  a dental forum here where you might have more luck getting some answers.

Losing our tastes a bit as we age is normal but what you describe sounds like something else is going on.  It would be worth seeing a doctor for to find some answers.

good luck in finding answers, L
