Hi There
here is an excellent summary:  http://www.wdxcyber.com/npapvg06.htm

basically this is a pap smear diagnosis

it reflects an abnormal finding in the cervix of either a precancerous glandular change or an actual cancer in the cervix 40% of the time.

occasionally, atypical glandular cells are coming from the lining of the uterus. A biopsy of the lining of the lining (endometrial biopsy) should be part of the work up

very , very rarely , AGUS pap is due to an abnormality of the ovary. After a complete evaluation of the cervix with colposcopy and possibly a LEEP biopsy plus evaluation of the uterus with endometrial biopsy - if all that is normal, then you need a pelvic Ultrasound and CA 125 to evaluate the ovaries
best wishes
