Groin Pain after Hysterectomy

Groin Pain after Hysterectomy

I am having severe groin pain on my left side.  It goes slightly up into the lower left part of abdomen also.  I had a hysterectomy several years ago but the doctor left in my ovaries.  I had a left hip replacement surgery 6 months ago.  I believe the pain may be from the hip surgery but my doctor had told me that I shouldn't have anymore groin pain after that.  He had told me before doing all of the pre-op stuff that some of the groin pain could be coming from "female" problems but then the MRI did show arthritis on my hip.  Could the pain I'm feeling now be from my ovaries?  I have an appointment with the GYN in a week but I am somewhat concerned.

Hi There
if the MRI shows that your ovaries look normal, your pain is not coming from the varies. it may be coming from your hip.
This sounds like a tough problem. You should consider seeing a rheumatologist to help manage your arthritis.
best wishes
