Weekly Taxol

My Mom is doing weekly taxol now and just after 2 treatments seems to be having a very good response.  She is beginning to feel better,breath and eat better, and ca-125 fell 200 points already.  So we are EXTREMELY happy.
My question is:  on this type of regimen is she going to complete the standard taxol treatment as if she was doing once a month or is this more like the maintanence where women can be on for as long as needed/tolerated.  
We also had a consultation at Memorial Sloan and to be available for any clinical trials, particularly the vaccine trial, she has to have minimum or no evidence of disease on the scans.  Is it possible for weekly taxol, at this point of cancer of 4 years, to put her into remission even if its short term?

thank you for your question.
It is different for different women but I would say that staying on weekly taxol as maintenance therapy is a good strategy. It is possible to go in remission but it is more common to see the cancer  stabilize and slow down its growth
