ovarian cancer survival rate

I have a friend that was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. It was originally thought to be a cyst. When the doctor went to remove it he found that it was cancer stage 1. The problem is that he cut into the tumor. It has metasized into both lungs where sections have had to be removed. She now has increased lymph node size in the abdomen and thyroid. It has been 10 years. Is there any way to guess at a survival rate? Please if you can give any info. I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi there
survival rate is very variable and individual.

if it has been 10 years, she has a slow growing tumor.
But without all the details of her medical case, I cannot give a prognosis.

If this is something that she wants to know, it is best for her to ask her doctor
take care
