pain in ovaries during menstruation
I have been having extreme pain in my ovaries since yesterday and also was feeling really dizzy when standing or sitting. I  started my menstrual cycle today and I'm still in a lot of pain and a little dizzy. I never have pain in my ovaries during menstruation. I had an ovarian cyst rupture about 4 months ago and this is what it felt like, could I possibly have ruptured another one?

Yes, ovarian cysts are very common and they do cause the same types of pain.  I had very painful periods for many years.   You should schedule an appt. to see your gyn  within the next month. That way, you can try to determine the cause of your pain and hopefully get some treatement that will help you symptoms.

Best wishes,

Shelly
