pain and ovulation

Im 37 years old I have 2 children and was dx with PCOS in 2006. For the last year things have been good..I have gotten my period every month although its been heavy I have been dealing with it. The last few months I have been getting left ovary pain it lasts 3 -4 days I thought for sure there was cyst because it hurt after inner course.  I finally went and had an ultra sound ant the Dr said there was no cyst an I was probably just ovulating..this month its been 5 days and still have pain.   Is it normal to have pain when ovulating?

HI,
Some women may have pain while ovulating. However you need to rule out other causes like pelvic infection, endometriosis, fibroids etc. Treatment with antibiotics and anti-inflammatory agents may help. Consult your Doctor for a detailed examination.
Hope this helps.
