old blood "sack" found while first ultrasound

I had my first ultrasound today, they found what my doctor called old blood or clots of old blood below more near Mg cervix no where near baby. I was told thos is seen quite often. I am 6 Weeks 6days. Any others experience this?

Maybe you could have been having twins and one didn't develop.
