Hi,
My son is 3 years old. He has nigh time dry cough and stuffy noise for the past 3 weeks. Some times when breathing, snoring sound comes. Our Dr gave some cough medicines and recently with Penaragon with codyne. It's arrests cough in the nigh but it comes back in the day time.
Could you suggest what this could be?

At this time of the year, the most likely diagnosis is a viral infection.  This can give the symptoms you have described.  Occasionally these viral infections become secondarily infected and lead to a sinus infection.  This may or may not cause a fever and may need antibiotics.  Your doctor can best judge this on a good physical examination.
