by maangier, Jan 18, 2008 08:34AM
3 weeks ago I was dx with pneumonia  cat scan done 2 weeks late showed 3 enlarged mediastinal lymph nodes along with several small nodules in both upper lungs.  I also have hep c for over 30 yrs.  Hep c treatments failed  should I really be worried  Doctor ordered PET scan because of SOB.

This is a reasonable next step.  Most likely, however, these nodes are related to an infection, either one that was in the recent or distant past.  It is not likely this is related to the Hepatitis C.
