15 months ago I had a small squamous in situ surgically removed. A year ago I noticed what appeared to be a smal blood vessel running across the scar. I now have a small pink spot in the scar. Upon close examination, it appears to be lots of tiny blood vessels, and when I stretch the skin the pink color dissaptes. Is this normal? The spots is not raised, and there are no defined edges. Can squamous in situ return after it's cut out? And what would that look like? Thank you - I tend to worry!
I have had similar but you should ask your doc for sure to be sure. With atypical dysplastic nevi the moles can regrow which has actually happened to me once within the scar as you mention but mine is absolutely fine per my doc.
