Should i be worried

by worried978, Feb 02, 2009 03:03PM
Today i went to the dermatologist regarding a mole on my left ear which i though had changed.
The dermatologist said he was not worried about this mole but given i am light haired and blue
eyed decided to give me a full mole check. Whilst doing so he found a tiny mole (about 1 or 2mm)
behind my knee which he said looked different to the other moles on my body under his hand held
mircoscope. I had actually never noticed a change in this mole before myself, not surprising given it's size.
He removed it and sent it off to biopsy "just to make sure", He told me not too worry about it but
i can help but feel a bit stressed regarding the situation.
Am i being a hypochondriac? Should i really be so worried?
All thoughts would be greatly appreciated

I guess you will be informed about results of the tests. They probably told you when they will have them. It's not likely something big will happen with the moles in the meantime.
