My partner has been taking Clonazepam for around 2 years now ne is currently on a dosage of 2mg at night as he suffers from REM sleep disorderAdjustment disorder Anorexia nervosa Asperger syndrome Autism Autoimmune disorders Bipolar disorder Bipolar disorder Bleeding disorders Borderline personality disorder Bulimia Chronic motor tic disorder. However the medication does not seem to be working and when speaking to his GP he is informed to increase the dose by 1/2mg at a time. In the past couple of months we have noticed that he has developed what could be described as a lazy eye could this becaused by the medication? he suffers from more commonCommon cold side effects such as irritabilty and experiences extreme highs aswell. If he missues 1 dose he suffers the classic withdrawel sympthoms. Should he have been on this medication for such a long period of time? Please advise on what is the best route to take.
